The limited interior across two levels features a pleasantly captivating blend of contrasting styles that range from the industrial to the minimal. Contemporary décor is carefully combined with antique pieces vintage elements and rustic surfaces even while stitching together a home that feels both eclectic and chic.
The name Malibu invokes images of beautiful beaches plenty of sunshine high-end oceanfront property and of course the endless line of Celebs that seem to constantly move in and out of the famous coastal strip.
The lower level of the loft contains a breezy living area a double height kitchen and dining space and a cool workstation that barely draws your attention. The color scheme is neutral with white being the dominant hue (as one would expect).
Much like the brilliant indoor garden a wall of tiles next to the staircase ends up being a showstopper and this eclectic collection of colorful tiles is repeated in the courtyard and bathroom to give a sense of continuity and cohesion. This dazzling collage was crafted by the designer by bringing together the various tiles used by him in other projects an effort that cuts back on cost and unnecessary wastage of materials.
Nestled in Germany and overlooking Lake Starnberg and the distant hills the follows precisely this design philosophy. The upper level of the house holds the living area kitchen and dining room and is accessed by a giving those inside unabated views of the scenery around the home.
