Located in the neighborhood of in Canada the is a project that showcases how one can turn an old row house into an intriguing modern masterpiece full of whimsical elements! The exquisite remodel was carried out by MARK+VIVI and the revamped interior serves both as a cozy home and a spacious studio for designers Mark Fekete and Viviana de Loera.
The idea was to create a contemporary home for two sisters with two separate individual homes that blend into one even while giving both its occupants ample privacy. The floor plan created a cozy structure with wooden walls that offered two rooms a dining and a sitting room a bathroom a kitchen and a terrace for each of them to enjoy.
With the living area and the dining room extending into the wooden deck outside the interior seems a lot more spacious visually. The brick wall in the kitchen offers textural contrast to the setting even as curated contemporary décor paints a picture of understated elegance and inviting warmth.
