Nestled on the side of the steep hill in Queensland and overlooking the distant Gold Coast skyline and the Pacific Ocean it is the view on offer that defined the modern transformation of this Aussie home. Luxury was intertwined with smart ventilation systems to achieve a balance between comfort privacy and spectacular views!
The idea was to create a contemporary home for two sisters with two separate individual homes that blend into one even while giving both its occupants ample privacy. The floor plan created a cozy structure with wooden walls that offered two rooms a dining and a sitting room a bathroom a kitchen and a terrace for each of them to enjoy.
Anchored into a steep hillside the lovely mountain home offers a perfect vantage point to take in the many sights and sounds outside while its rough-hewn timber and stone structure showcases the very best of the local alpine home design.
Showcasing all of this in a refined contemporary fashion is the in designed by Søren Rose Studio. The beautiful home brings forth all the classic features of the Tribeca loft but with a hip New York City twist!
The overall silhouette of the home which was brought to life by Berner Loftfield definitely draws its inspiration from the timeless architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright. The super-slim cantilevered roofs keep out the sun while extending the living space outdoors and giving the residence a distinct contemporary vibe.
